    Selling Aluminium heat sinks on Ebay

    Since my closest scrap yard is 2 hours away from my house, I have to sell scrap Aluminum on ebay.

    The bigger ones, like out of stereo console units usually go for good money. I've got a stash of them, including some quite larges ones out of broadcasting equipment, that one day I will get listed. The little ones seem to make you more than scrap, but not tremendously in my experience.

    If one were to win on opening bid. $30 bucks total for 19lbs is ~$1.58/lb
    Since these pay at the yard (at least where I live) .35/lb
    All I can say is that I wish you well on it.
    I'm so into scrapping.. When my Steel Toe Boots Wear out, I cut the Steel out of them and recycle the Toe!

    Shipping may scare away a lot of bidders ... Maybe sort them by type in future auctions ?
    Yes I am very aware it is not cheap to ship anything unless ya' are a large company

    It looks like he has a bite.. for me in Indiana shipping cost would be $20.. maybe someone in Cali- it would be less!

    DIY woodstove fan to increase heat output, using free electricity Pelter device, large Ali heatsink and a CPU heatsink/fan.
    And a couple of screws.

    ...it actually looks like you may have two in that last picture that are number two copper with stainless fins
