Sega Genesis Games - Gold finger boards

Broke open an old Sega Genesis game today, figured I'd post pics of what's inside them.

I'm assuming the e-waste buyers would consider it the same as memory boards but I'm not sure.

There's nothing to these things. The following pics of the board, is all that's inside these game cartridges. You could probably play the games without the case there's nothing to them.

What would these boards go as, same as memory?

Do you happen to have a gram scale? Would be handy to know about how many games equal a pound. I think I saw a post from some time ago where one buyer said he purchased them at fingerboard rate.

All carrtidge games look just like this. All they are is a memory stick with the game installed on the chip. I think I remember same thing as bjy i think they went as fingerboard price. But I think this would be a good candidate for pulling off the gold fingers for the $75 a pound and taking off the IC for the $6 a pound. Ill have to go tear one apart.

We have buyers that will pay above scrap price for cartridge video games , even games that don’t play can be used as parts so the value is lost when items like this are scrapped .

Cartridge games I bought 15 to 20 years ago for about a dollar give or take (Some sealed in the box) are selling for good money these days. $15 to over $100.00.
The systems are staying about $25.00 for a non working unit with no cords or controls. But the working and boxed items are selling well on eBay and elsewhere.

I have Nintendo, Sega, Atari and many others that I grabbed up at give away prices as I figured it was a good thing to invest my money in at the time.

I have many boxes of video game stuff with a few rare items that sell for many hundreds as well as many semi rare items that bring good cash or trade.

I hardly ever sell anything, but I have traded some over the years to friends and others that I liked. I won't do business with everyone as it's mostly about the FUN factor then making a dollar.

I believe money is made to be spent on things I need or just want if I can afford them.

The video game stuff is one of my favorite hobbies even if I hardly ever "play" them. I mostly figured it was a great area for investment.
I started collecting other types of items when the video game market changed and it wasn't worth the time to find the deals. I still get a great video game deal now and then.

I have most of the computer stuff that I collected up over the years as I had no need to mess with trying to sell or move it. Have some cool old vintage stuff in my collection/hoard.

I have plenty of scrap and other things that I can sell or trade when that interests me.

Still 100% debt free with plenty of inventory so I can most always raise extra cash when required. Just depends on how much I need some extra cash or how interested in the deals I am.

I do live very differently then most others as I'm living my childhood dream and not much changes in my world that I can't adjust for.

Most times I have a good idea of what's ahead in a bigger sense as I don't allow myself to be programmed or placed in a box.

My mind is free and so far my body is keeping up well enough for it's age and wear. I understand that could change quickly with all the pollution and poisons that are in our food and environment.

But I also realize that I might be around for a bit longer then might be comfortable, or I could have something fall from the sky and land on me.

Stranger things have happened. It's all in how we view the world around us and most of my personal views and beliefs are not very popular in a world that loves their fantasy and fictions far more then the bigger truths and facts.

P.S. Parts of this post may rub some the wrong way and make the anger monkeys wake up and make you feel alive. I don't view that as living. More like a zombie movie.
