Hey so I was breaking down a tower today and the motherboard was purple! It kind of through me for a loop but does that mean anything about the grade or is it just a design by the manufacterer?

Hey PTS thanks again for this! I found a lightscribe dvdrw drive in a tower that I was disassembling and took your advice and posted it on ebay and it sold 2 hours after I posted it for 23$ with 10$ shipping!

If purple is a design thing, then the red ones are too?

Yes, you'll find all colors on later ones, not so much on old ones.
