    Tower vs laptop hd boards

After 20 minutes of surfing these posts and boards pry I give up. I’m sure they do but I wanted to ask before I ship, does board sort buy tower hard drive boards the same as laptop hard drive boards?

A hard drive board is a hard drive board no matter what size as long as it came off a hard drive

I dont mess with floppy drive boards as most are brown and not worth it (in my experiences). If they are brown they are low grade boards, if they are green they can go in with CD/DVD boards I think..... However CD/DVD drive boards have always been green and, as i have recently found, are super duper easy to get out. So now, I do all disc drive boards and the buyers on here and board sort have a category for drive boards.

Harddrive boards are all the same price, laptop, desktop, server, IDE, SATA, etc... like $10/lb-ish right about now
CD/DVD drive boards are like $3-4/lb-ish around now.

Floppys I just keep and sell to a local yard whole for $0.07/lb

Make sure to pull off the foam from the hard drive boards as well.
