    What do you do with the cooling systems in laptops?

    So I was going through my scrap tote of laptop cooling systems and was wondering if the pipe if copper?

    If the tube isn't damaged, and still has the fins on the one end - it could worth a lot more than scrap on Ebay !

    You mean the long non-magnetic pieces normally adjacent to the fan yes? These are heatsinks. They're normally aluminum, copper, or aluminum and copper.
