I hate it when others are right...but then I've known this for a good long while now.

    Enjoy.

Some those are recent others over time...I just like taking photos an not sharing them.

    Sirscrapalot - I found gold!

I see what appear to be phone handset boards. They also seem to be bare of components. Is that the best way to do it? I've been tempted to snip the caps on mine but I wasn't clear.

I'll post a better pic of what I think your calling the phone boards.

An their not bare, likely I just didn't flip them for the photo. there is also gold on them..hence why they were kept. Little gold circles hard to see in those above. I'll take a couple more later an post them up.

The boards above are a mix of...Cell phone, House/Business phones, Sat LnBs(New members feel free to search, I've posted on LnB's before with photos) cable modem/routers, cable/sat boxes, etc.

The only caps I remove usually are the big ones as my buyers do prefer them that way most of the time. Little caps will stay. Photos above are a mix of current and past. I don't usually take pics of things stripped as it's usually the stuff one removes anyway..excess metal/plastic, large caps, copper stuff, etc.

@breakage if you look at the last photo, in the right corner you can see two boards with orange stickers, an then there is on up a little with a "new" sticker on it..that is from a phone. If you look really close you can see the little dots of gold. An yes..it's gold. There is another just over from the one above also.

I'll post a clearer photo of them tho. Make it easier for everyone.

Sirscrapalot - I'm a golddigger when it comes to ewaste.

As promised...more..kind of the same, but hopefully easier to see things.

Left one is flipped over..other two are the "front". Nothing stripped off of them. Normal phones. Home/work type.
    https://i.imgsafe.org/49338890c3.jpg

Cordless phone...under the white is gold, can't see real well due to lighting but it's gold where the buttons would be.

    Similar to the first photo.

Another board...note the little chip/eprom thingy...it's gold, not silver. I'm a scrapper not a freaking pro photographer.

Another shot of the first photo...a little more up close. Yes..again the dots are gold. Don't look it but they are.

    More to come...

    Sirscrapalot - to be continued...

    An back again...

Another shot of those same boards...lol..an my trashcan lid. ha!

    Cell phone boards.

Two boards...long one is a phone, an the big square one is from...I dunno what. But it has gold, so there.

Same as above but the other sides of said boards..

Long one in front is from a flatscreen tv or monitor..can't remember which. Second is from something electronic..lol.

Last one...if it was tilted better you'd see the gold. As it is you can see it right above the yellow.

    Enjoy.

I'll add more another time. Taking photos is a pain in the ass. Haha!

Sirscrapalot - Where there is gold, is where you'll find me.

For those curious...the hosting image site is https://imgsafe.org/

I couldn't remember my login for the site I usually use, an it was easy enough to use the one I just did..so figured I'd share it with those of you who may or may not be looking for a photo hosting site. It's free, an I didn't have to sign up with anything. Simple as simple gets.

@webuyselltradestuff - You know it. I love those little blocks. They are EVERYWHERE! Good problem to have tho eh?

@mikeinreco - Ha ha! It's not the lens that is the problem. I'm a scrapper! Photography is a class I missed out on. Seriously tho..bad lighting, an the inability to find a spot in the light to get better shots. An sure can take it..I got my thick skin on.

@johnniebrass - Polish? Is this new lingo? Cause I sure as hell didn't polish a **** thing. Or are you calling me Polish...I assure you I'm not Polish! ...puns included at no extra charge.

Sirscrapalot - Just made a bunch of Polish folks mad at me.

Bonus: Q: Did you hear about the Polak who thought his wife was trying to kill him? A: On her dressing table he found a bottle of "Polish Remover". If their gonna be mad, gotta give them a reason to be!

for better pics, next time you do a digital camera, save it and see if it works. I literally just picked up a nice 12mp digital camera, from all places, in a free box at a yard sale a few weeks ago. I was gonna toss it in the scrap but decided to try it. it even had an SD card in it. fresh batteries and it works find. BTW, my iphone is only 8mp, so I got a better camera for free than on my phone! LOL...

I have plenty of gold ram, slot cards and cpus. More than happy to sell. Try the eyes of satellite dishes there is a lot of gold plating on them.
