Just another "please help me grade my circuit board" thread

I was wondering if anyone could help me out in figuring out how much this board is worth. I believe it is very high quality given the fact that it was made to be used inside laser burning diode racks with telecommunications, defense, and high performance laser technology applications.

The board is 22" x 17.5" x 0.2" and weighs just under 5 lbs each. I have 138 boards (about 690 lbs total) which I do not intend to split up when selling them. Please keep this in mind in grading these boards should you decide to help me out.

Time is somewhat a factor since I have already been in contact with a number of recycling centers. I expect to receive their quotes within the next few days and should probably not delay too much in my response.

Unfortunately these boards have become an eyesore to certain family members who disapprove of my recent interest in scrapping and need to be sold quickly so that they don't remind said family members that I have much more material just out of sight.

I did not plan on posting the boards for sale here since I just joined yesterday but if someone is really interested please let me know and I will make a proper post in the Buyers and Sellers section. I will post the quotes as soon as I receive them and will even offer to deliver them for free so long as the quote easily covers the gas expense and the delivery does not exceed 150 miles.

Sorry for being so demanding. To whoever comes to decides to help me out know that I am utterly grateful would be more than happy to return the favor somehow should the opportunity arise in the future. I really dislike asking for favors or being indebted to someone else. Makes me feel so dirty.

Those links will have to suffice. Photos contain relevant information such as verifying dimensions and weight but are too numerous to embed in the post

Unless that happens to be gold plating under all that green, I don't see any real value here...

Deng that sucks. I've handled a ton of high quality boards in my capacity as QA for a board assembly company and I was hoping that the unusually heavy weight was indicative of precious metal content inside the board since these boards aren't particularly larger or thicker than others but are so much heavier.

I am by no means an expert but there's not much of value on that board, in fact I didn't see any gold plating around the holes. Can't call those telecom boards cause all the money is in trans. ic chips, diodes, capacitors, and other small components.

I'll still be recycling them just to keep them out of landfills but now that I'm all depressed now I am going to post some images of different boards I need help grading but to be honest just want to show off. Hopefully these boards won't get such poor reception cause I so sad now.

links are of 7 different boards

As far as I know, unless you can scrape off the green masking and there's "gold" plating underneath then the only thing of some value is the copper traces and a big thick fiberglass piece of board. Pick you a good buyer from our list and send them a couple of good pic's and see if they'll price them. I'd say all you have there in the first pic is a "depopulated" board worth about .05-.10 a lb right now. (that's with no gold showing)

If your in QA (something to do with quality) then you should know what the boards are made of but I don't think you'll find any precious metals hidden there.

The boards in post #5 are much more photogenic than those in your first post. I really like the way the blue contrasts with the gold.
