    Cable cards

What do you guys do with cable cards not like the ones from directv but like local cable provider cards it seems almost like a wireless card from an old laptop?

I don't know exactly what your talking about. Can you post a pic. of the card? Do they look like the satelite receiver cards with the little gold square on the back.

Thank you for the link. I have gotten them before and I smack them on the edge with a small hammer and take the aluminum cover of and put them in with ether mid grade or high grade (I forgot) but they do have nice little boards in them.

Same here. I find the same type of cards in phone and voice mail systems as well as laptops. I have a bucket just for them.

It looks almost just like the linksys wireless card for a laptop. I have a few of these from newer style cable boxes I'll probably put them all in one lot on eBay and hope for the best. Shame we can't use them as random to the cable companies!

    Cable cards

For laptop cards, I take off the al case and the rest goes in with finger cards.
