    fake x-mas trees

I tried searching, and came up with nothing. Today i picked up 2 sections of a prelit fake xmas tree. I plan on cutting off the lights, but was wondering if the tree would be taken as shred? Its a steel tube in the middle and the branches are thick steel twisted wire...each section is probably ten pounds...I just dont wanna piss the yard off if i bring it in. Thanks.

it depends on the yard, the yard i use no longer takes them \
most places would rather you ask instead of just throwing things you are unsure of

shred, copper wire, brass ends and light bulbs, believe it or not the bulbs have the most value, i did a complete tree last year and sold the 1200 bulbs for $60 on ebay as replacement bulbs
