Laser or color printers .newer models worth it

Just thought Id let you know there's some money in laser printer breakdown on the sides of them theres small motors with lead pigs and copper wire. The rest is aluminum wire . The motors have about half a pound to a pound . There easy to breakdown. The rest you throw In your shred pile

i pull the ink cartridges out of them and donate the printers to goodwill. cartridges bring $2 each with a max of $20 a month at staples.

I just did about 15 of these, they have a lot plastic, but the steel frame is a good solid piece. Then there are the steel rods that have rubber rollers on them. The rods look like stainless, but they aren't. These where HPs, I tried to sell the ink cartridges, but I guess they are too common, only got an offer of $.50 each. Oh well, still got more scrap $ than what I paid for them.
