sorting out wires

i dont plan on stripping my wires but does anyone know of any resource/guide on how to seperate all my cords, chargers, cables, etc for maximum profit? I pretty much have them thrown all in one box, tiny phone charger cables with big extension cords and what not.

As a buyer of wire, I look for the following.

THHN (Also called solid core) in one box
Romex alone
Insulated 1 (thick gauge wire)
Communication wire
Harness wire
All others (extension cords, power cords, etc.)

If you are interested in selling said wire let me know.

I have 9 wire buckets buckets

1 for red
1 for blue
1 for brown
1 for green
1 for black
1 for white
1 for orange
1 for yellow
..and 1 for 'other'

You gotta be kidding??? We use 5, B.B. #1-#2 clean, and #1-#2 insulated, colors don't mean anything over here, it's the size differences.

yes, being upside down must do strange things to YOU guys....

well what i really need help with is identifying the types of wire i have so i can properly sort it

is a computers power cord the same as extension cord and vacuum cord wire?
should said wires be seperated from regular appliance wires?

so this is what im thinking

THHN: the wire that circuit breakers and other heavy duty stuff is connected with

romex wire: the wire found inside appliances and things like that

insulated #1: extension cords and vacuum cords

communication wire: telephone cord and cellphone chargers

harness wire: thin wire found inside computers

should powercords be seperated from extension cords? how about computer power cords?
im really confused and having trouble identifying this stuff



ALSO ive been cutting off all the transformers and throwing them in a box

i also have a bunch of electric motors, some have the metal casing around, others are broken down? do i seperate these or throw em in together?

also the motors range from big air compressor motors down to little fan motors... i know theres a diff price for big and small, but at what point is it considered small and big?

I put ALL internal computer wire together as 'Data' or 'Low Grade PVC'
