razer electric scooter cl or tear down

Razer electric scooter craigslist or tear down? I was driving down the street today and what do i see, a house with a big pile of stuff infront of it and a guy working outside. So i stop by and start going through the pile for scrap metal. Start talking with the guy and says he also has a razer electric scooter and asks if i want it. And I asked what he wanted for it. He says here just take it so i took it. lol He said it needs a new battery. So it it worth getting a battery and charger to go with it, sell it as-is or scrap it out? I have no idea of value here. Looks like about $10 in scrap.

I guess it depends on what kind of razor it is. The scooters that you stand on don't have a lot of value. The go carts and dirt bikes tend to sell well. The batteries that a razor uses are about 12.00 and the charger is about 20.00. Most use 2 batteries. I'd be looking to part it out or scrap it before I put any money in it. I think you would get the most money by taking it apart and throwing the parts on ebay. Go to razor's website, they have replacement parts and the prices. There are a lot of parts you should get 10.00 to 15.00 for.
