Time to come up for air

Hey everybody, how are you all doing?
Since I introduced myself the other day, I've been searching this forum and getting ideas. It takes me forever to type and
I tend to do/read for myself before asking someone. I've read 14 pages so far and intend on continuing. Anyway, when I got to a
thread by Scrap Master J, about "weakest link" (referring to our businesses individually), I realized I've been suffocating myself.
I've been so involved in trying to be efficient that I've become inefficient. Trying to break it all down for the best price because
I don't get enough scrap to take more than 2 loads a month in. That also means I don't have enough to effectively organize
either. So, I think what I'll do is measure the area in my yard that my piles have taken over, take all, or most, of my piles in, take
that money and fence in an area with established partitions including a break down area and start over.
I've taken notice of the suggestions in other posts on finding more to recycle, salvage and scrap. To sum up what I've read so far,
experience, perseverence and some heart.
One thing I've learned, for myself was that even though I may see an item as scrap the person I'm receiving it from has some history
behind it. They might be willing to part with something if they see I have good intentions for them and the item.

i never measured my areas, but they're in definite stages, light iron here, short iron there, motors, misc stuff, computers, monitors, things to check out/test, things i might sell etc, and they're in a row on either side of a path that my trailer will fit through almost to the end
