jghilino, What is the weight yielded of material from your 5$ per lb purchases? I'm assuming this is some gold refining material? IE - goldfingers... I'm just making assumptions here so please correct me.
If your 5$ lb purchase yields 1 oz of "$300" per lb materials; aren't you really paying 90$ per lb to ( 1 oz yielded material per pound purchased? Or do you sprinkle magic dust onto it?
Please clarify...

I break my stuff down quite a bit,but most of what i deal with is appliances. I get max value,it is kinda a relaxation thing out in the yard tearing up stuff, and it saves me time at the scrap yard,i have taken enough there i have a good rep for bringing clean metal, they dont spend a lot of time looking my loads over. however i have started getting more of the E-Waste,so i'm still testing as to how far to break them down.
