    Dismantling a pool heater.15 lbs of copper in each, this has 22 lbs brass headers too

    Here's the pool heaters coming in under the fridge. The one I am dismantling is in the truck.

    YEAh I did a couple of pool heaters about 15 lbs of number 2 copper and the brass tanks. about the same weight. Nice. Some heaters are not that sweet though. good score.

    Worked for a pool company building maintaining pools. My boss always kept every motor an every heater. Gas ones are the ones with the copper coils in them. They are great. My old boss used to get 100 a year. Heaters go pretty quickly usually mice rip them apart and other stuff. I have 2 laying around that I had ex customers call and ask to be removed. I will always remove it even if it's for free. Some screws off the sides and top and it comes right off saw out coils and ur good to go
