    finding scrap while working

I do road work and yesterday we were working a 9 mile stretch of highway and found some things worth picking up.
    1) 12 brand new aluminum down spout elbows, 3 good 9 already crushed by traffic.
    2) 2 cell phones broken screens.
    3) nice long pair of jumper cables, clamps smashed. stripped real nice.
    4) a Garmin GPS broken screen.
and many aluminum cans I couldn't stop to pick up.

The phones were pretty beat up, I took the boards and stuff out of them.
This was the first time I took apart a GPS. inside is a small speaker, battery and a CPU soldered to a green board with gold on it.
I would imagine these would be considered high grade boards?

    happy scrapping
