If I had a ton of #1 copper I would have been to the yard on time! Or better if I called my yard and told them I has a ton of #1 copper they would have been happy to see me and stay open for me!

My yard never closes on time. On Saturdays when they are open till 2, the gates don't close until 2:45. That has saved my butt so many times from unloading the car.

A friend went to the local yard near closing. He just has some #2 copper and such.. Maybe $40 bucks worth... They gave him the wrong ticket. He cashed out $450.. LOL.. Needless to say, he took off fast.

I take it he don't go to that yard anymore! Poor hourly wage cashier would have had that taken from there pay. Honesty is a two way street!

Being the honest person you are, you called him out. Good for you.

This idea holds true with any service oriented business. Go to a restaurant just before closing and see how nice they are and how good your food comes out!

Try the DMV at the end of the day!
I totally agree...since I do this part time I always go on Saturday morning and am the one waiting there when they open with the trailer behind my pickup truck. I don't usually have any attitude problems or any kind of problems for that matter...people are fresh and cheerful at 8am, hehe.

Well most people are TrailerScrap, fresh and cheerful that is, but even a non-morning person is better then a guy just itching to get the heck out of there and having a cold one.
