    sold some e scrap

Want to thank all here that posted anything about e scrap. It took me seven months and around 20 computers but today it paid. I searched and found a local buyer (180 miles round trip). Walked out with 225.60. Take away gas and tolls and I grossed 185.00. Also need to thank the bank teller that told me her father said there is gold in computers. She was impressed with the checks I kept depositing and had asked what I was selling to get them.

Do you have a breakdown of what you made on the different parts? Cases, boards, CPUs, drives etc?
I have 300 here and have only cashed in maybe half the cases and am amassing the other parts.

Most local buyers only want to pay .10 - .30 a lb. for all escrap boards, that way they get the gravy along with the low grade.

Ah How much did they pay for motherboards? Ram? and did you have low grade mixed in with it?

I have a bunch of low grade, mostly from tv's. I wonder if local yards will buy just the low grade for more than shred price. Looking to make top dollar for high grade

    Thanks in advance
