    Motors

I just dropped off Electric Motors @ .33 I made sure they were CC But wile i was at the pile i saw motors like 400 lb with real copper .I felt like I am all worried about 1.4 lb copper and people get rid of motors with 5 lb CU , How do I get those huge motors ?
The yard guy said all the motors are off to Japan ,I guess my boss is japan & there thirst for metal exceeds my strength.

I always hope to come across a monster motor someday. One that'd fit snug in the back of my truck would be nice.

I hope your truck is a 1 ton I would think a motor that size would be pushing over a couple thousand pounds.

In NZ at the moment the Goverment is giving out money so people with large electric motors can get them rewound.

Its all to do with electric effiency or something, rewired motors use less power than the older ones & thats free $$.

So I'm sorta getting the impression the old motors going to Japan are getting reconditioned.
