Those are some seriously good looking trucks just sitting there. Don't scrap them! They are easily worth more than scrap value.

That Caddy would make a real neat street sleeper, with a big block in it.

thats my kinda truck the very last on we scrapped was one, actually ran but it couldnt pull itself up the trailer broke my heart we scrapped it, saved the tailgate to resell and kept the seat for my 94

EDIT i figured i better let everyone know this was a 318 not the cummins since im bragging about them on the post below

i dont know if thats a cummins or not but IF it is you really need to consider that for your main scrapping vehicle. they rarely go bad ( i got two of em ) you can probably put two new batteries on it a new fuel filter and prime it, probably fire right up

EDIT. also drain the tank 15years is a while

You might get more than scrap for that. A few people are looking for old vans to convert to ice cream trucks.

Sears drops off? How did that come about?

If you ever are looking to scrap the stuff, go stay with your grandfather for about a week. Should give you plenty of time.

I'm curious how he got Sears to drop off there as well. That would be an excellent thing to have done. $30 a day from Sears alone would be excellent.

in the town there is no salvage yard that pays for metal u either need a load big enough for the crusher to come to you or travel 3 hours to the closest yard that pays for loads
