Right place at the right time!

I just love always being in the right place at the right time!

I went to pick up my wife from her mother's house a little bit ago. On our way home, she asked me to stop at 7-11 to get her a diet coke. While I was in there, a gentlmen and either his gf or wife was in front of me.

His shirt caught my eye. It was like 2 or 3 shades of blue and was a hoody, but what caught my eye, was on the back it had a company name, phone number, and web address on it.

It was a property management company.

I asked him where they were located, and what kind of properties they managed. He told me...residential and commercial.

I then asked him if they had anyone solid that was doing their scrap metal, junk, or electronic recycling? They said they were looking for someone new, as they were not happy with their current people, as they have caused damage to some of the properties.

I quickly informed them of my company, and that we would love the opportunity to bid on any work, and become their new favorite source. So I handed them a few business cards (for friends, family, and co workers), and told them to check out my site, and I will give them a call tomorrow.

Then the guy said, for me to call him around 2pm tomorrow to discuss.

I also told them that for all orders placed via my site, they get an automatic 15% discount, plus any other discounts I am running at the time as well. His eyes LIT UP!

I pray that things go smooth tomorrow. I love getting corporate clients like this, as work is always consistant.

Lucky is as lucky does. You prepared yourself to take advantage of a chance meeting. To me luck ,much like invention, is 99 % prespiration. I hope it works out for you but if not this time then next time, Mike.

Thanks guys. Besides real estate investors, rehabbers, property management companies are my best friends in this business!

All 3 will provide you constant steady work all year long, as long as you treat them and the properties correctly!

I love any corporate accounts that I get, as the trips are always more than worth the time and effort, but since I do junk hauling too, these 3 categories, like I said, will be your BEST FRIENDS.
