I start with a 30 pack of busch. $17.99.
About 1 lb. of aluminum per 30 pack. $0.45 per pound recycled.
$17.99 / $0.45 = 39.97.
so every 40th 30 pack is paid for.... (excluding gas/time/and a full truck.)
even though I go through a 30 pack in about 3 days...
121 30packs a year
= 3 free 30packs per year.
I still don't waste my time with the cans that fill my whole truck up for a few bucks though.. it's like i'm throwing away free beer.

Never weighed an empty can. Anybody know the average weight of an empty beer can? Is it safe to say they are worth aprox. a penny each?
