Today was a very good CL score to day.

So I refreshed my adds on CL this morning and within 30 mins I had 3 calls. ! was a paying pickup of 20 bucks for 4 towers. Other 2 were like come get this crap out of my garage I dont want your money.

So I pack up the wife and take her with me because she wants to go shopping for a new TV for the bedroom. You all know I am a mailman by day and I just got paid yesterday for xmas 2 weeks. I worked 132 hours in 12 days. Paycheck was $3000 net.

Well the first stop I got the 4 towers and paid the guy 20 bucks. Quick look one of the machines has a sata dvdrw and a 300gb sata drive. Quick easy $50 on ebay. The 2nd stop was 3 pentium 4 machines all in working condition per customer. He used them as a software test base for his old job. Also gave me a box of cords with a KVM switch. The 3rd pickup was 3 towers, printer, 2 crt's , 2 keyboards, bag of cables. Then the dude hands me this motherboard and says here you can take this also. When he hands me it he says there is 8gb of ram on it and everything on the board is in working order. Im trying to hide my excitement from the guy say thank you shake his hand and get in the car. I drive out of the neighborhood pull to the side of the road and look closer at the MB. It does in fact have 4 2gb ram chips on it. Awesome I get home do some research and this is what I find.

MB is an ASUS m2n-sli deluxe sells for around $50 on ebay
Ram is OCZ pc2 6400 4 chips at 2gb each. Sell for about $30 to $40 a chip on ebay.
CPU is an AMD x2 6000+ sells for another $50 on ebay.

So long story longer I spent about 90 minutes driving to the 3 spots and spent $20 on 4 towers and got rest for free. Just from the MB the guy handed me I allready should profit $200.

Now you all know im building a HTPC (home theatre PC) I think I just found my MB, RAM to replace the other one I was going to use. Ill have to steal the CPU from the one I have right now since its a amd x2 6400+. I then will have a full computer to sell on CL for a good $150 to $200.

Then we went to bestbuy and got a openbox 32 inch LED tv for $199 bucks. Went to microcenter and got the wallmount for it. While I was there I couldnt resist and baught myself a new 23.6 inch LCD for the computer.

    Was a very good day.

UPDATE Ok since I posted this I had to go break the dang things down. I couldnt wait till tomorrow. The goodies I got from all but the 3 working CPU's are as follows.
    1 sata dvdrw $20
    2 ide dvdrw $30
    1 sata 320gb HD $40
    2 IDE 80gb hard drives $30
    1gb 2x512mb ddr333 ram chips $10
    2gb 2x1gb pc6400 ram chips $20

That should put me in for another $150 on ebay.

    Almost forgot the 2 cpu's
    amd x2 64 4400+ $30
    pentium d 2.8ghz/2m/800 $10

So thats $190 total from 7 scrap computers of resale value.
