Wet and windy in my neck of the woods today so I shut things down early at my landscaping job. Dropped off one of my crew members who lives near me and on my way home about a block from my place someone was throwing out an old solid steel cabinet, a nice score for me. Decided to use my extra free time to load up my truck with the goods I have managed to grab in my very part time scrapping since saturday. Everything ended up just fitting in my little truck (03 Chevy S10). Headed to the yard, about 5 min away from the yard stopped at a red light I took a glance down an alley and saw an oven with overhead range and microwave, I really wished my truck wasn't already full. Made it to the yard, only my third time there and did the best I have so far at $41 so that already made me pretty happy. Peeled out hoping to snatch up the over I spotted and lucky me it was still there. It was a fairly heavy beast but still managed to load it into my truck by myself without to much trouble, turned around and headed right back to the yard. The sucker tipped the scales at 280lbs! And another $27 into my pocket. Sometimes it pays to be strong.

ALSO I still have two fridges that I found monday night, the yard I went to today doesn't accept them, will be going to another one saturday morning that will take them but they pay $50 less per ton on shred so they will only ever be getting my fridges.

Starting to really like this scrap buisness!
