What looked like just a water heater ended up being much more

This was pretty cool. I went to pick up a water heater. I wasn't too thrilled because I had to help the guy haul it out of the basement.
It worked out awesome though. When I got there, a piano was sitting out on the curb. I asked the guy about it and he said it was mine for free if I would haul it off. So I did. It ended up being a nice 1958 Hobart M Cable upright. It needs a tune but everything works on it. My little girl wants to learn to play so I was super excited to get it.
I also picked up a trailer hitch, some jumper cables, some free weights, and a bunch of aluminum cookware. Turns out the guy was moving and just giving stuff away.
Moral of the story is... You never know what the next call or stop will bring. I had not had much luck for the last couple months until this. Just keep looking and when you least expect it, something good will come your way! Good luck everyone!

Good deal. Staying on it an keeping that drive counts big time some days. Even with me being a "big" time e-waste company...we have days where we bring NOTHING IN and its like hmmm so now what? But I find thats a great time to make phone calls and do clean up and making things ready for when someone does come in.
