Guess how much weight is in this load.

Before you all start yelling at me, Im not asking you to tell me how much weight is on here. Im going to take this load in tomorrow and I thought it would be fun to have people guess how much is on there. Lets see what kind of recycler you are.









A little about the load, the trailer is a 6'X10'. The compressors have been removed from all the refrigerators and AC's for further tear down. The motors have been removed from the Driers and washing machines for further tear down. 1 of the refrigerators has been loaded with small scrap, the others are empty.

So what are your guesses?

I will post the actual weight on Friday.

1500 pounds. Voted 1200-1500.

I'm getting 200 a ton for tin.

I'll guess 1720 lbs

Not enough to bother taking in. Of course, everyone's circumstances are a lil different. For me, that load, trailer and all, would tuck in nicely on top of a load. 15 miles from a town, 60 miles from a yard, $150 for tin.

@ c4f5 My yard is only 2 miles from me, so it really doesn't matter how much or little I take in at one time.

@hobo finds I didn't miss a brass valve on the tanks, what you are looking at was a steel fitting.

Just got back from the yard and there are some really good guesses on this post. I will let you all know what the weight was on Friday. Let this fester for a little longer.

All these guesses with odd number ends... I've never been to a yard that had that for scrap steel. Always in 20 increments
