Just Been Down The Woods (Again!)

    Hey Guys,

This time me and my friend have gone for the larger stuff like cookers, old bashed down fences, car parts and wheels. We have 5 different piles of metal collected which we will do tomorrow. We was going to take 2 piles up today but I got stung by a wasp

So we still have loads down there all in piles but it should be fine as it isn't like on a path no one uses.

I'll take pictures of everything we find when it is all in my garden!

I'm not sure about a wasp sting, but if you get any kind of bee stings just grab the nearest tomato plant and pick a couple of leaves and crush them and rub the juice on the sting (and around it) and the pain and swelling will stop right away. That's an old trick from when I was a kid,

Mechanic, I would like to see these woods with tomato plants just growing wild! I'm just messin with ya. You ever hear of rubbing Curly Dock leaves(crushed) on nettle stings? Works instantly and they grow everywhere......if there are nettles, you can bet there is curly dock right next to them! I use it with my kids all the time.

Sorry about the hi-jack Dawsey. Sounds like you have a nice little score there. Let us know what kind of prices your getting?

Good luck mate. Are you breaking the cookers and everything down or just weighing them in as they are?

I prefer to brake everything down. I mean I just hit the holidays so I literately have nothing to do so breaking things down gives me two benefits - more money and more activities.
