Thanks for sharing. The lawn mowers would be worth over $300 around here.

A couple who hit me up from my ad on NEXTDOOR app and gave me a garage door opener and about 150lbs of scrap who live on my street. They texted today and asked if hauled off trash. I knew what she was refereeing too because I seen the pile when I was there. It was a little decent pile mostly vinyl siding and scrap 2x4s some aluminum flashing, a old heavy wood garage door. Normally I don't take on real junk removal jobs because I don't have the time or really the hauling capacity to do a real junk removal job. Plus getting into the landfill here where I'm located is a nightmare. Dumping a load could turn into a 2 hour thing because sometimes there is a very long wait to get in.
But in this case I knew the amount of stuff would be small enough to just get rid of with my normal trash pickup spread out over several pickups. So I jumped on this one and did it for $60. I estimate that I also got about $20 - $30 in scrap value out of it if not more.

Determine never to be idle. No person will have occasion to complain of the want of time who never loses any. It is wonderful how much may be done if we are always doing.
