You're right, but Rome wasn't built in a day. It's going to take a while, but consistency will win out eventually. As much as I've come here in the past, I don't see it lasting forever because of the condition the board's been allowed to fall into. It's mostly been left on autopilot. The last piece of "news" made by the admin was from almost 8 years ago. I'm surprised its lasted as long as it has.

While it may seem at this very moment there is no advantage, it is open and free for any and all to advertise NOW so when I do get SEO working and driving traffic, it will pay off eventually. You have a website, you can go throw in a single advertisement, walk away and never visit again. What's your benefit? Exposure and a small SEO boost that will remain. If you're part of the community as it builds, that exposure will only increase with time.

In the past, your words not mine.

How many years ago has it been since this site has been of benefit to you in making a sale.

IMO, time to stop flogging this dead horse, it's not coming back to life anytime soon. it's time to send the carcass off to the rendering plant.

There is a BIGGER reason for the condition of this site.

The WHOLE world has changed from what it was in the past, simply put.

Most try and ignore the BIGGER truths as it get's in the way of most peoples dreams of PROGRE$$.

The many little guys do the work and those very few at the top of the ladder get the payoffs.

Same as it has always been in the grand illusion of reality.

The horse is not dead quite yet.

But it seems to be on it's last leg.

Miracles can happen, but I personally wouldn't bet on it.

Most people seem to be much busier then they have time and patience for.

Vhs format is not popular anymore and even the DVD and Blu-ray are on it's way out with all the online media formats.

The world is a changing behind the facades of reality much like the old movie lots and sets are mostly gone.

A question for those volunteering to moderate, besides removing the spam threads what other actions would you take to revive the forum, like attract new members.

I'm beginning to think Andrew just might be the smartest one in the room realizing this years ago when he decided to put the forum on auto pilot.

As a gentleman he left the forum live for those refusing to leave.

    Who will be the first.

Many funeral ceremonies end with family members, relatives and close friends of the deceased throwing a handful of dirt or soil on the coffin.

It still works....last time I posted an item on here for identification I was eventually connected with a buyer who knew exactly what it was....this was probably two months ago....it took a little longer than usual but the buyer came forward and we made the deal all thanks to this site

I would say that "Andrew" Is so BU$Y that he has more frying pans on the fire then he can keep up with.

But things do change and he could end up with fewer pans on the fire and this pan being one of the last few.

I doubt it, but stranger things have happened.

If you weren't whining about Andrew's absence or me being a cancer would you have anything constructive to add.

As far as I can see 403 made an attempt by starting the appliance repair thread, two people chimed in. It's been several days since anything new has been added.

As 403 has done you have every opportunity to start a new thread, but the real problem is you have run out of ideas and the regurgitated garbage has no value to you.
