    Water drinking fountains

I'm new here. Only been scrapping for a couple months. So far, I'd say my favorite things to scrap are air conditioners ( especially central airs ) That is, until last week, I got my 1st taste of a drinking fountain!! That thing was loaded with copper! A decent amount of brass to, but it had 2 spiral copper things, and even the pipe in the middle of the spirals we're copper. I've been putting up generic little ads on social media about removing household appliances FREE, and I've had pretty decent luck with people contacting me. I'm trying to figure out what industry to target to find more drinking fountains. Ironically, I work for a school district, and a couple years ago, the entire district swapped out all the old fountains with new ones. We're talking a good 40-60 drinking fountains!!! Of course I just started scrapping, so the thought never crossed my mind at the time to get those B4 they hit the dump! Anyone have any thoughts about a good place that would go thru fountains? Thanks

I did one of these a few months back. It had a brass tank with 20 ft of copper tubing wrapped around it and soldered to it. The entire thing was completely dipped in solder it seems, I thought this was unusual. I'm not surprised that they used to use copper for the tank as well.

One thing about water fountains is that they are all made different. ive done a few and none were ever the same style.
