It looks like a nice rig .... but you have to be extra careful when working with any kind of fuel tanks. It's always that one oddball chance you didn't anticipate that makes it go BOOM !

A friend with a CNC milling machine is cutting me 50 of these sockets, when they're ready they will be $30.00 each.

Sorry, but I tried, but I still can't get what makes them that cool. Maybe someday if someone helps me to like them. I know that's not a popular opinion, but you can't say that I am not honest.
NEW TO SCRAPPING? READ THIS: Build up your horde of magnetic and non-magnetic metals in two piles until you have a better understanding of the business. Magnetic material has low value and is mostly always steel / shred / short iron. Read old threads about non-magnetic metals and ewaste (and how to sort them), but don't forget that they generally have absolutely no tolerance for contamination (screw / iron / foreign material).

It seems like a good design but i would be concerned about fuel vapors and sparks. Even a static electricity spark is hot enough to ignite the propane. Doesn't take much.

About the only workaround i can think of would be to make the socket out of some kind of metal that won't strike a spark. Something like some kind of aluminum or brass alloy ?

Similar thing with the impact gun. It would have to have an explosion proof electric motor. Maybe an air powered impact gun instead ?

Do you know any licensed propane technicians ? Maybe run it by them and see what they think ? They work with propane and propane tanks every day. They would know the hazards to avoid as well as anyone would.

It could depend on your age and the amount of drugs you did when you were younger

Add to my to do list:
    - Take more drugs.

What I listen is usually quite eclectic. My current stations are pretty much all indie/alternative, hard rock, classic hip hop and classic country.

I don't know what it is. They have very odd musical timing that works with my brain quite well. They remind me a lot of Pink Floyd, only heavier. Very experimental, or so it sounds.
