I don’t think they’ll be sending me out to Vegas for anything but then again this place operates way different than any yard I’ve ever seen. Most of what I’ve been running has been shred going up to their big shredder in Toledo(some of you may know the yard I’m hauling for). As for what patriot said I do get out and try and talk to people as much as possible. Apparently this yard has yards in pretty much every state. I’ve already learned a lot here but there is always more to learn. I definitely got some questions for either you or nick pistone regarding torching but I’ll probably put them up in the paid for section of the forum When I get time. It’s pretty interesting how this yard system as big as it is uses outside contractors like Pistone to do their torching for em. All the yards I worked at just used some guy like me who worked there to run a torch and knock stuff apart. I’ve never seen burning contractors before. But then again I’ve never seen a #351 propane tip before either. To me a number #4 was always considered big. At this place that seems to be child’s play.

I will give out some advice on here though, if anyone decides to purchase a big gondola trailer definitely look into getting a gate that’s either mesh or has a bunch of holes in it. These solid door ones are pretty much like a parachute coming down the road. I’m pretty sure I get better gas mileage running full loads than I do running empty.
