Feedback on website design and content

I could use some input from the community. I personally think a scrap metal (scrap car) website does not need to be fancy, so the website is quite plain. We have been working on blogging articles to get our ranks up in search engines. See https://www.deolcarsolutions.co.nz/blog/ . What do you think of the content? I have seen other people just stuff keywords in their pages/blogs, so I promised myself that we need to put content that is not utter garbage. I takes me quite a bit of time to put together the articles as I have to read the relevant official data sources.

Funnily enough now that I read news articles I notice spelling mistakes or grammatical mistakes quite often, it could be a consequence of writing the blogs and being self conscience myself.

I don't know if it is just me, but your server is slow to respond. I did a tracert as well and it is also lagging somewhere, not just the delay to cross the big pond. I would watch that is just an isolated case, not a recurrent issue. I am also a big fan of simple web design, but you should use a minimalist Wordpress theme. To be honest, the way it looks currently gives us the feel of a RSS feed. Maybe just adding some colours or a header picture can help it and invite us to read your contents. Hope this can help you and that I haven't been too demoralizing.

Yes, the servers are located in Australia, so some lag is possible. I will update the theme later this year. Thanks for your comments

I get the feeling you're trying to hide keywords in your site.
Impress with actions, not with written words. The people you are going to be dealing with aren't going to be people who read.

Having relevant keywords is the aim for any site. The challenge is to have useful information along with whatever keywords are present. You last sentence is a good one, will take that into account.

Your site comes over very fast. It is much faster than Weee ben's site in Melbourne. It is only B&W text. I didn't look at everything but what I did not see were photos or colors of any kind. My site gets the point across with photos. e-junk.biz People that want to get rid of junk don't really want to read.
