Today was wha ??? hold on there

I've been organizing well Collecting casually (when I see value)
when you Look You Find .
Each weekend been working on some copper but not selling
Today I thought lets sell a bit.
about 30 pounds AL 60 pounds CU a bucket of motors & some mix .
Then walk in & get $275
    I was like
    WHA ? not What
    just a WHA ?
Time to sell AL and Motors
copper is fine also $3.03 #2
    AL is .61
    Motors .33
Scrap must be up due to industry needs
and yes the payout is nice
Or is it actually expressing the worth of the
    Declining Dollar

Glad I've been saving all my copper, brass, and lead since last summer.

I guess it's time to make a trip to the yard. I checked prices last week and indeed they are all up .
    Now I'm motivated ...

Steel is HIGH right now. I bought a combine (Deere 7700) at an auction this Spring for $800. I thought that was a little steep until one of the local scrap guys offered me $1400 for it on the spot. I bought it to use, so I declined on the offer. I should have bought the junk one sitting next to it and sold him that one

Given that competing commodity structures are up, this is probably a dollar correction based on the unusual spending. We cant call it inflation just yet, or I should say the powers that be wont, but with food prices up, grains, metals, oils and precious all up at the same time and all relatively coordinated, this "correction" could be here to stay. I'm sitting on so **** much copper chops even now because I still think it has another 25% or more to go this year before hitting stable cap. Usage has until last year been down significantly so if we are correcting the dollar and usage is up...we could be looking at 6 dollar copper, 500nt steel, 1.00+ aluminum by the time it starts getting cold again. And if you think I'm wrong...might want to roll it back to 2013-14 and look what happened that winter.

Yes I gotta sort and load this week or next due to space constraints. Held out all winter so I need to pull the trigger
and hope I'm riding on the wave and not under it .
