Thanks Dakotarog. Just saw this and called about the job. I am only stockpiling because of the low steel prices, but the challenge and desire to learn was tempting. They actually have three machines to scrap, one in Brookings, one in Rapid City, and the third in Morris, MN. It will be an interesting project with all the electronics. The company usually scraps their machines themselves, but because of the remote locations they do not want the hassle. This is a very large financial institution that specializes in electronic banking that many would recognize the name.

So the deal I have with them is they will haul the machine from Rapid to Brookings, (I wanted them to pay for fuel so I could make a trip to my cabin in WY., but they hesitated.) In addition they will provide their expertise to removing any precious metals from the machines.

Never underestimate the value of this forum. It has provided me with the demolition of several community water tanks, a demolition project of a power plant in Omaha, and now the contact person for a corporation that specializes in online banking nationwide. Thanks DakotaRog.
