Found a refrigerant recovery machine in the trash today

Found one of these (although very heavily used)

Hoping once the corona is over I can get a few bucks for it! Just thought I'd share a recent find.

Havent tested it yet, but my guess is it is broken in some way.... who would throw out a $900 item if it worked!! Either way (working or broken) should still be worth something to someone

I got my refrigerant license at my local community college. This was several years ago and the cost at the time was just $45. There are lots of old threads about refrigerant recovery and reselling it. 73, Mike

Yea I probably could do that, would help me out then cause I could drain and scrap ACs/friges/etc.... Might consider that after the corona is over.

We purchase laptop computers and many components for greater than scrap value. We offer a shipping reimbursement program.replies

After running a business that repurposes scrap computers and parts for almost 10 years (It'll be 10 years next January), and after buying two cars from Copart, I can safely say that you can never underestimate what people throw out. If people used things to their full potential, we'd all be out of business. Fortunately, I think people being wasteful is a safe bet

Yes you would be correct. I plugged the thing in and flipped the switch and it started pumping it sounded like. So my guess is it does work. Once the corona is over Ive got like 50 things backlogged sitting it the garage that I have to list for sale....
