Nice computer score from regular client

Just piced up about 180 core i5 desktops!

This is from a regular client I have been dealing with for the past 3-4 years. It is an IT department in a large business.
Hard drives are all removed, and the vast majority has no RAM, but all the CPU's are there. Almost all are 3rd gen i5, a few are 2nd gen.

Interestingly, they just bought all these when I first started out with them, and recycled the old computers that these ones replaced.
Their policy is that once the factory warranty expires, computers are replaced.

Needless to say I am very happy!

3rd generation i5 's sell for $18+ on Ebay The motherboards are probably worth far more than scrap as well.

    Congratulations on your haul.

If you had spare parts like RAM and some HDDs laying around, you should fix them up, throw WIN10 on them and they can then sell for $120+ each. That's what I do with most of mine if they still work. Either that or part them out and use/sell the parts for better than scrap value.

I was about to scrap two old computer towers. Just for fun I looked one of them up on eBay. The power supply for an olde E-Machine has sold for $26 bucks!! Forget scraping I'm selling parts!.. part out what you can. Keep us posted!!
