    520's Scrap Finds

Huge Craigslist score. I picked up around 2k lbs of stereos, DVD, modems, routers, Blueray and VHS players yesterday. I now have a constant stream of ewaste from this contact I made through the free section of craigslist. The guy buys pallets of electronics at auctions. He is in the resale business and has no desire to bother with the lesser value items. He buys 1-8 pallets a week and supposedly almost every pallet comes with items he is not interested in reselling.

Next week I am going to break down 10 of each item, weigh everything and see what is worth breaking down. Up until now I have been breaking down all my ewaste but I've had the spare time. With this new supply of ewaste I really need to figure out what is worth breaking down and what isn't worth it. I know modems and routers are worth breaking down but i am unsure about the dvd, blueray, stereos and VHS.
