Uranium One Is all to itself ,
    The Clinton's benefited financially
Bill Clinton - A Russian bank paid $500,000 speaking fee
$145 million went to the Clinton Foundation and is linked to Uranium One
Hillery Clinton had ONE MAIN power wile in office she could of been the VETO vote
When you look at the ABOVE moneys
it becomes clear of the truth
20 Percent of United States' Uranium to Russia
in Exchange for Clinton Foundation Donations & speaking fees
America to Candida to Russia .
She did not deserve to be president

Thank you for making my point Copperhead AKA.

Whether you like Trump or dislike him, he has fulfilled his promise to take office in an unconventional manner, make decisions in the best interest of America, and be unpredictable. Trump has lost over 400 million dollars of net worth since becoming president because many of the regulations that have been removed were actually to his benefit. Why would a real estate magnet propose increasing the cost of the raw materials he needs to continue to build his empire? As a business man he purchased steel and aluminum from China instead of the US mills because it was cheaper. From a business standpoint it does not make sense. The tariffs will hurt his empire, not help it. He is using it for the ability to negotiate for the United States, not his business interests.

The Uranium One scandal was just another example of those in power abusing the power for personal gain at the expense of the interests of our country. History is full of such examples: Jackson's Indian Wars to secure land for development, Harding's Teapot Dome Scandal, Grants Whiskey Scandal and Credit Mobilier Scandal which actually started during Lincoln's term (there were actually ten scandals during Grants terms). The point is this, although the tariffs might cause controversy (something Trump loves) he has actually made a decision that will hurt his empire and not help it. Why?

I stand by my earlier statement that the tariffs will not affect scrap metal very much. It will instead influence the other three legs of the table much more.
Give back more to this world than we take.

I feel scrap will have no harm and will increase in value as is will still be needed as usual over seas . But I feel more will be use here in America based on re-opening blast furnace so price should go up

America's last keg maker, American Keg Co. of Pottstown, may get tapped out by new tariffs - Philly

"The newly enacted taxes will not apply to finished steel products produced outside the U.S., Czachor said. And that’s where he sees the real trouble. Imported kegs, tools, and heavy equipment are not subject to the new tariffs.

“Downstream imported products, made outside of the U.S., that use a lot of steel, will still be priced cheaply,” he said. “If the Chinese make lockers for a high school, people can import them with no tariff. The imported kegs will still come in using low-cost steel.”
    Better than the dump!

“The level of tension between the United States and its major trading partners is probably more tense than it has been at any time since the early 1980s,” said Meredith Crowley, an international trade expert at the University of Cambridge in England.

Whether Mr. Trump has begun a trade war or merely a skirmish will depend on what happens next — which countries win a reprieve from the tariffs, and which opt to retaliate.

Mr. Trump’s decision to back off from across-the-board tariffs came in the face of strident warnings from the American business world and leaders of his own Republican Party that such a course would damage the American economy and alienate allies.

I don't know much about steel mills and blast furnaces out here we build airplanes. You know like the B 17 and B 29 that won the last World War. Boeing employs 137,000 people from North Carolina to Wichita Kansas and Everett Washington. Boeing's stock has gone down $30 since last month and they are real good about laying people off when the jets don't get ordered.

I know my local price for aluminum extrustion was way down last week around 43c, today I called and it was at 56c. Its had some swings in my market lately. Tungsten carbide is doing very well if you have a pile of if. I bought all I could for $4-5lb 2 years ago, amassing close to 650lbs, now its $9.25/lb what I can sell it for. Im waiting to see $10, then I will dump it. Thats a better return rate than gold or silver.

The eye test for me is that my local yard went from $7.00 per hundred to $9.00 in just under a week. I understand that many factors are involved, but I like the upward swing. Regarding the tariff's, I dont see them as a cause for alarm in regards to other nations. For me, I think its just a case of Trump putting his foot down and saying that we are going to trade on fair levels, and this is simply a turn in that direction. A good trade is when both parties feel like they won. Are there any examples of trades in the last 20 years that the US didnt give away more than it took? I'm sure the % is very low. We've been a pushover for too long...time to even the playing field.

Hedges and speculation at this point, time will tell what the true effect will be. But yeah, their not painting an optimistic view.

Its just a correction, in my opinion. Market soared unrealistically and now coming back to normal (reasonable) levels. All other economic indicators are strong. I'll take a series of increases (for example, totaling 5k points) with lower ratio decreases (750 pts) any day. We're still up thousands. If Trump can hold firm, yet reasonable, in renegotiating trade, then the world markets will get used to it and continue strong. This is just a normal response to the shock and awe approach to rebuilding our trade strength.

Smelters went to china due to extreme govt regulations that DID NOT make it fair to do business here in the US when under democratic policies and presidencies, that also killed manufacturing. Just like that bogus Paris climate agreement crap and all the phony "global warming" garbage. Remember in the 90's when "OMG theres a hole in the ozone layer!!!", that was debunked also. I haven't heard anyone talk about ozone layer in a solid 10-15yrs. When I hear the term globalists, people like George Soros, Buffet, , and the like come to mind. The USA is no longer going to keep getting the chorizo when it comes to manufacturing and trade. The asians and mexico have ripped off more and more of our products, and it happens daily. American consumers have become total cheap asses who don't care about quality anymore, and it shows. I own a small company that has machined items made in the states, and when I started I had asian shops wanting to get my dollar worse than a local hooker. Told every one of them to pound sand. I'm glad these tariffs are happening, its a giant win for manufacturing in this country.
Don't get me started on these stupid laundry soap eating kids thinking they know everything about firearms and life.......
