Exclamation Brrr It's Cold Outside Today

I woke up this morning and it was 3F ( -16C ) outside.
I had to break out the thermals for the first time this winter.

How is everyone else holding out up here in the Northern Hemisphere ?

It was -6 F with a wind chill of -20 F here on the Maine coast when i got up at 5:00 AM this morning. Hard wind from the North bearing down and sucking all of the heat out of the house today. Got the wood stove running full out.

According to the weather channel it's likely to be like this for the next week or so.

Sigh ..... I guess it's time to break out my winter coat.

At least there's no snow in the immediate future.

1' F in Buffalo this morning. I'm trying to decide whether to go tear things apart in the frigid cold or clean the house. So far neither has been started. LOL

it's so cold that it snowed recently in the panhandle, and it might AGAIN around new years. Twice. Within a few months. Unheard of.

Minus 19F at the moment with a low of -23 and a wind chill of -35. Tomorrow the high is suppose to be -9 with a wind chill of -40. We are suppose to warm up to a high of -2 Monday. Winter seems be a little late this year.
Give back more to this world than we take.

The weather guys say that if the stard align, and they think they will, Tampa could see flurries the next couple days.

Some of you's live in a deep freezer.
The -2F it is right now seems like a tropical heat wave !

We're getting to 2 degrees f today. Then down to -30 tonight
Gonna let the tractors run all night, already had to get some 911 for the f 350.
Tommorow will be torches prybars and water shutoffs. Should be plenty of copper and brass scrap as water lines and heating systems will definitely freeze up in many homes and rental units without tenants there to keep the place warm.

A "fringe" benefit for a scrapper who endures northern winters and knows or is known by the right people. Enjoy!
