I don't know about the rest, but the scrap game is exciting to me. I had a guy call a week ago about a job cleaning up a farm he just bought. I've been waiting a week, and today he met me at the site. An old Ford Galaxy 500 4 door, 3 heating oil tanks, other miscellaneous junk, then I saw it. The Tie Master 40. I got so excited my wife was jealous if this rusty old beauty. Not a chip of paint left on her except the perfectly preserved name and manufacturer info, and she's all mine now. I get to save her from certain destruction at the scrap yard. I think sometimes finding cool things is more fun than payday, but my wife just doesn't get it....yet.

Good luck getting your wife to side with you on the cool stuff over the payday . I think a lot of us are waiting for that item to convince them , also welcome to the forum , I believe I missed your intro . If she is on board with the scrapping thou your allready ahead of the game . Galaxy pic plz

Telemaster 40 is an RC airplane. Perhaps that's it?

Taskmaster made tractors. Perhaps this is a reference to a 40hp tractor? That makes more sense in context.

I guess I wasn't thinking. A Tie Master was an electric tobacco stringing machine. Basicly a sewing machine to attach tobacco to sticks for hanging in the barn to cure. Before those it was all done by hand. I'll post some pics as soon as I can, might be a few days.

Most wives don't get the scrapping thrill . Nor are they happy to tell others about it . Unless
you can continually hand them money from it . Not to sound sexist as many woman scrap also
But i'd say if you won your woman over as a normal Dude and discovered scrapping on her watch
you have a hill to climb . Same can be said of a woman who discovers it with a 9 to 5 husband
who comes home each day to items beyond beauty sitting in the yard !!
