    Sneaky Tantalum Capacitors

Today I was in my rubbish bin, and noticed this little Blue Tantalum hiding inside of some heatshrink!
It was on the back of a power switch.

Which made me decide to open this guy:

And inside are two caps and a copper toroid.

Also noticed a lighter than usual power plug. Normally these are heavy and just contain a single transformer. Well some goodies inside.

Are these marked with a "+" sign on them?
IF they are more "flat" and "round" than tear drop- they are resistors.
I collected quite a few of them in my early days thinking they were epoxy tantalum.. turns out they are resistors.. not tantalum.

These are found readily in power supplies right at the point you found yours. Take a pic of the top (face) view if you would and post that for us.
I'm so into scrapping.. When my Steel Toe Boots Wear out, I cut the Steel out of them and recycle the Toe!
