Ive called a few places that popped up on google search for Houston. ESR Inc. being one, and cant get anyone on the phone. Is there any placed similar to board sort or cash for computer scrap in Houston, Austin, or San Antonio?? Any help is appreciated
We had a member in the Dallas area as I recall. Between boardsort and ewasted I choose ewasted. We do have other buyers here on the forum to look.

Ok. Looks like shipping is my option. I did send out a 20lb box or RAM, CPUs, and MBs to ewasted today, so I will see how that goes. Is there a affordable banding setup I can buy for straping/banding gaylords to a pallet at the house and having them ready for either pickup or drop off at local dock? Either steel bands or nylon. Or is it better to staple the bottom of the Gaylord to the pallet then build a 2x4 wood "cage" around it and toss a sheet of 1/4" ply on the top. What is the best way to pack LCD monitors? I understand the smaller box inside a big container theory for sure, just trying to get it all lined out. I plan to get a much e-scrap as I can this year.

I live in the Austin area, and the only place that I know will buy ewaste at a decent price is a yard called Trails End Recycling in Leander. They are closed to the public but I would make a call to their mother company CDN Systems. They only deal with commercial and business customers at the moment but they might be willing to buy from you if you talk to them. I've worked with them in the past and they are really nice people when I worked with them a couple years ago. Might not help your situation much but it's worth a shot.

When you ship LCD's make sure they are taped face to face and stacked like books not flat as the bottom layers screens tend to get crushed. As far as banding goes nylon or metal is fine and my suggestion is shrink wrap gaylord to the pallet.
