    Yes because if I did not they become part of the landscape when riding in the bed of my pickup.
    Give back more to this world than we take.

    Yes, to save space. I take them in when I get a 60 gallon garbage can full. That amount uncrushed wouldn't fit in my truck.

    I do not as the machine that sorts at the top of the conveyer has a drop off point which is wide enough for a crushed can to fall thru . I just bag them and take them in with other loads when they are ready . See what your yard does next time you take them in .

    Naturally I go for the .05 to .06 first the other's
    I crush with my boot and sell as a after thought with my regular load .
    I have recently discovered near Weissman yard,
    a supermarket that the can machine pays .07 per can and on Wed they pay .08 !
    My scrap yard trip is now called the One Two punch .......

    not usually, the machine at the grocery store can't read the barcode and I don't get my 10 cents...for any other aluminum can that isn't returnable, yes. stomp them. they fit better in the tubs and don't blow around that way...
