    College Scrapper

Well, This is my second semester attending a local Community College. And I'm taking online Business English. I have to write and IMRD report on a business related question. The examples given are automobiles, cell phone services, and internet services. The teacher would prefer if it was a real life situation, And since I have no job I figured I would do it on scrapping. I am having trouble coming up with a good question that isn't too basic. A lot of my questions essentially boil down to a Pros and Cons List. I figured maybe some of the minds of SMF have some brainstorming ideas.

Many questions have been asked and answered over the years at the SMF. Just type the word "question" in the advanced search box and you'll see what I mean.

Would a paper based on what is the history of scrapping meet your needs? You could highlight it's impact on WWII, the influence of the Jewish faith, the export of it for China's ghost cities, the use of ships refining our metal in territorial waters then returning the metal to the U.S., and the impact President Trump will have on the commodity if jobs are brought back to the U.S. I look forward to the ideas of other members.
Give back more to this world than we take.

Using "your question" can help with search here, google and other search engines. Mike

I actually got thinking about all the things I have read on here. Somewhere there is a sticky about whether or not it is worth it to go pick something up. I figured that has got to be my question. Everyone has a different approach to what there time and mileage is worth. So I should be able to formulate some "experiments" and go off that.

In figuring your formulas remember some items may be better getting rid of as is instead of breaking down further to try and make a few bucks... And even better if said item could be re-sold or repurposed normally makes more $ than scrap. Please make sure to let us know the final product and how you did. Good Luck!
