CurbCo: This item is NOT available at CurbCo

I thought this was worth a chuckle.

It's kinda pixelated. The sign reads, "The smoker wasn't garbage! Please return it!"

This was in the new development I've been working in. The smoker was sitting on the little stone pad in front of the mailbox. I watched a couple of different people checking it out but didn't see it actually being taken...

Edit to add: None of whom appeared to be scrappers or construction personnel.

Who would put something like that next to the street ?!
There's a perfectly good yard behind that fence !

moral of the story - Don't be stupid and put something in the right of way...especially if that is the typical spot for trash. You get what you get for being stupid.
PROFIT is made when you BUY/ACQUIRE NOT when you sell

They have a couple of unruly dogs behind the fence, so I can see why it's not back there, but yes, it was sitting right next to where they put out the trash.

Well if they USED the smoker.. it would have been HOT and no one would have touched it!
    Duh!

Almost did that one time. We passed a beautiful smoker at the end of the driveway with the trash piled right around it.

Thought we better ask first just in case, but no one came to the door. Left it be just in case, it just looked "too" nice.

Next week we cruise past and the guy is out at the end of the drive cooking on it.

They had a nice backyard, and a deck...why put it there?

Doesn't look like the same house, might be related though...also in SW Pa.

Just an update for anybody who might be interested--I was back at that site today, and saw the homeowner in the alley, so I asked if they'd ever gotten the smoker back. She said yes, they actually did get it back, exactly one week later, and it had been cleaned! She said it kind of restored her faith in humanity, and I kind of have to agree...
