    Disposal scrapping

Well I took apart a disposal today to find out that the windings were aluminum but so is the top of the disposal. So in my aluminum pile it goes. Was hoping for copper but guess not. Lesson learned.

I also learned this the hard way. Cut what little wire I can and toss it in the shred pile. They are pretty high up there in the nasty factor sometimes.

They go in the transmission category here. I just cut the cord and throw it in that pile at my house until I get a bunch of them ready to go. Transfer cases, chainsaws, appliance motors, boat motors all go in that category as well.
