What's your plans for the year ahead

Hello everyone just putting this out there and seeing what everyone's plans for the year is weather it's going bigger or down sizeing getting that dream car or settling down with the lucky person in your life.

My plans are to grow steadily over the year I'm only a part time scrapper ATM and only come across scrap when driving to work or to do the shopping but I've been getting more just by looking on Facebook and eBay.
I'm getting more fridges come my way as well and as non of the lagit scrappers around my area will take them ( if they do u have to pay a few ) and theres only one yard in my area that will take them off you for £5 so there just left out side till they catch a life from someone lol.
And I've got lad that lives next door that's a fridge enginee so he takes all the gas out for me.

I've also got my 4th child due in march so this year is already good for me.

I'm working in retail ATM and hate it so a move is on the cards this year for shore.
As the prices are low for scrap at the moment I'm also looking at a new field of work and going into forestry ( money is way better than what im on ) to help subsidies my scrap dream of going out there and playing with the big boys lol.

So I've ranted on far to much good to hear what you all have planned.

I'm not much of a planner. No idea what this year will hold for me.

One year ago I was putting together a business plan to open an auction house. Once I got it all down on paper, I decided that the expenses were too high and the certainty too low for that business.

I hope to get a couple new sources for computers this year. I also hope to buy a few good storage units at auction. Money and space have been real tight though lately.

Aside from that, Que sera, sera. Whatever will be, will be.

We purchase laptop computers and many components for greater than scrap value. We offer a shipping reimbursement program.replies

I hope to expand what I do in more than scrap value items, and will be adding a few items that I'll be working with.

I'm also saving up to buy my next car in cash later in the spring- I drive 80 miles per day, so I go through cars quickly

    Other than that, nothing special....

I'll give you guys this bone; If your in a smaller market and have one or more independent trash haulers, check the state laws to see if their allowed to haul electronics to a landfill.
If not allowed like Indiana (I used that as my in) offer to buy their computers, and any other electronics you think you can make money on. I'm paying .12 lb by the truckload and that allows the trash people to stay more compliant as Ind. did not specify where or not these guys could dump their electronics. Just one more possible outlet. Good Luck Mike

    PS* I buy computers-parts
    satellite receivers
    sat. amps
    laptops
    Etc.

To add on to Mechanics point, talk with them even if they are allowed to go to the landfill. Our trash company uses smaller barrels that are moved by hand. When the driver (It's a one truck company) sees a computer, he puts it in the cab and drops it off for us.

    It's like "Full-servcice" curbco!
