Is dental waste a thing? I figure Gold caps are on the way out so I could get them real cheap. Not sure I would want to do that for a living tho.
I think ill stick to e-waste for now.
I'v always thought that scrapping a ship would be cool.

I think I would want to scrap the contents of Fort Knox... Those carts and racks they use for the gold bricks would weigh a ton.

And with the rumors that all the gold is already gone this could be serious(not really just funny). Mike

I consider it a vague trick question
If prices always stay ok copper would be it
    based on size to value

But in reality Aluminum - as it pays well and easy to find

I think it would be criminal to scrap a steam locomotive. But hey, I am a train lover!

Older high end mainframes or very large servers. I did a few of them in the past, tons of nice boards, RAM sticks by the dozens or even hundreds, tons of ceramic CPU's, big copper heat sinks, etc.
Not talking about the little rack mount servers, but the real big older stuff, these weigh from 500 to 2000 lbs each. Made by SGI, Cray, HP, etc.

An old thread that deserves a fresh look:

    If just one thing: Copper
Honorable mentions: Silver, .999 Canadian nickels, aluminum cans (no particular order)
