    New scrap job

Neighbor walked over yesterday and said his scrap guy retired, do I want the job? He works on school buses, does the maintenance. Sure, I said! He's already given me some bus springs before and said he has some cargo carriers right now and some other stuff. The place is only about two miles from my house so very close and convenient!

Scrapper, Scrap Yard Worker, Horse farm worker, Cooler Puller and just plain ''tired''

HIIII!!!!!!!! Still working 6 days a week. Even though I live 7 minutes away from the main yard he has me at the second yard ''as a favor'' because I know what I'm doing. Lol, dude, the drive sucks! I run the whole .....warehouse would you call it? Processing incoming scrappers, process all the scrap. Some days scrap sucks lol.

    NA,

I suppose you can simply process the bus scrap you get (if you want/need to) and just pack it into work with you in the morning? Sounds like a pleasant perk to working in the right place...

Any new stories about the scrap yard? What the oddball stuff is that you have seen come in, the oddball characters that bring the stuff in, near misses with the forklift.... Any pics?

    Your fan club wants info!!

    Jon.
